There are now ten new dungeons for you to explore with the development of the WoW Lich King game. But it doesn’t stop there. The Lich King dungeons are divided into wings. And if you want an even bigger challenge, the Lich King Dungeons section allows you to choose difficulty settings, and allows more than one player to play at a time. Most allow five to ten players at a time, but the Raid dungeons can have 25 players to 30 players.
Here’s a brief review of the three of the Lich King dungeons to help you understand a little about what’s going on.
The Nexus in the Borean Tundra:
Nexus Level 71-73 - Five player limit
Oculus Rift Level 80 – Five player limit
The Eye of Eternity - 10/25 player limit
Malygos has decided that the magic in the kingdom is getting out of control in the world of Azeroth. He’s blaming the mortal races for its overuse. So now he’s decided to take away the magic. But he didn’t think hard about the consequences of his actions. Lessening the magic is opening up unstable rifts as the world’s crust splinters. The magi have decided to fight Malygos and are prepared to fight to the end. As an attempt to show their seriousness, they decided to float the city of Dalaran above the Northrend. This fight may not end well as the blue dragonflight and the red dragonflight get involved.
Dark’Tharon Keep in the Grizzly Hills:
Level 74-76
Five player limit
The ice trolls killed many in the Dark’Tharon Keep and the Lich King has turned the defenders of the keep into his minions. However, the ice trolls have not had success in retaking the fortress. COURAGE is a necessity if you are to get rid of the evil in the Dark”Tharon before it falls to the Scourge.
Utgarde Keep Howling Fjord:
Ultgarde Keep Level 70-72
Utgarde Pinacle Level 80
5 player Limit
This once thought to be abandoned Lich King Dungeon proved everyone wrong when something woke up the half-giant Vrykul inhabitants. The Vrykul are now on a rampage, deciding first to assault the nearby settlements from above with their foul magic and proto-dragons as mounts.
